So I just reached level 20...
So, lvl 20 warrior at last, 1st thing is to get rid of mesmer second profession.
I got 4 heroes so far, what should I do next, this game is by far the most completely complex mmo I ever played, so many things to get my head around. I need advice on what to do and how to do it. So if anyone has any advice on how to continue it would be very much appreciated. I have professions and eye of the north. The |

Don't play this game as a singleplayer game. It will be 1000x more rewarding. Find something you like to do and find a guild which does exactly that.

if you did the quests in the crystal desert you can go to one of those out posts and do another quest and change your 2ndary for free (the monk's path, the eles path, the rangers path and the necros path)
see: http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Profe...ary_profession (Changing secondary professions ...Ascended Prophecies characters can take quests to unlock each secondary profession or visit the Profession Changer--fee involved for this...Once a secondary profession has been unlocked, that character can freely switch between all the unlocked secondary professions via the Skills and Attributes Panel in any town or outpost, or by talking to a profession changer again.)

Downside of having only prophecies and eotn is that you will miss a lot of skills (that are only available for factions and nightfall). I suggest you grind a bit of eotn and get alll 10 heroes there. Try to raise your eotn titles, this will also unlock hero skillpoints so that you can get free skills to improve your heroes. At the same time you improve your pve-only skills and get inscripable weapons, which are a lot easier to improve that the [email protected] that drops in prophecies (those weapons can also be good for your heroes)...
After that you can do the suggested quests to unlock extra 2nd professions. When done you can switch back and forth between them. Then continue completing prophecies and eotn both in normal- and hard mode. If you enjoying this game so far, consider buying factions and nightfall too. If the warrior is your first character, then I say continue with the story. Don't get runs to posts and skip missions.
Play the game at least once like it was meant to be played. So after you finish Prophecies, go to EotN and play the story line. Do the dungeons and if you fancy hard mode, do the missions/vanquish/dungeons in hard mode. That will keep you busy for a while. Do FoW and UW a few times as well. They are by far the best "elite" areas. Better IMO than the Deep/Urgoz and Domain of Anguish. Once you are done, if you feel like creating another character then do that or if not, get Nightfall. It is a lot more enjoyable than Factions. If you find them for cheap then by all means get them both Good luck. |
